Corporal, Infantry, assigned to Anti-Tank Rifle Platoon, Company Alpha, 38th Armored Infantry Battalion (Task Force Fuller), 7th Armored Division. He was wounded in Holland the 4th of NOV 1944 and died in an evacuation hospital (DOW – Died of Wounds), he was just 22 years old. His awards and decorations include the Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, World War II Victory Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 2 campaign stars, American Campaign Medal, Expert Marksman’s Badge, and the Honorable Service Lapel Pin.
