Bobby Clarence White was born on 05 March 1944 in Texas. He would later enlist into the U.S. Army and served honorably during the Vietnam War.

Mr. White’s medal and decorations include the Purple Heart, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars and 1 Silver Service Star, and the Combat Infantry Badge.

The Purple Heart was found by a Mr. Brain McIntire in January of 2016 in a desk at the San Antonio, Texas Independent School District Warehouse. He quickly reached out to PHR for help.

The medal was returned to the Veteran’s Daughter, Mrs. Sandra White Sims who lives in Dallas, Texas.

The Presentation took place in the Oval Office at the George W. Bush Presidential Center located in University Park, Texas and was presented by LTCol (R) Mitchell Bell, Director of our Valor Guard.
